Nordic Point Lodge proudly offered professional black bear hunts for more than 30 years, catering to rifle, archery, and muzzle load hunters. We also offer fully guided archery moose hunts each fall. We’re also fortunate to be able to offer great grouse hunting in and around Perrault Falls. Guests taking advantage of this opportunity combine small game hunting with our Fishing Packages for an all-around great outdoor experience.
Grouse Hunting
Ruffed Grouse, referred to by locals as Partridge, are both delicious, and plentiful in the Perrault Falls area. There are also pockets of Sharp-Tail Grouse to be found. Grouse hunting is one of the most relaxing, enjoyable hunting experiences you can have in Northwestern Ontario.
Hunters are able to access a vast network of old logging roads, and wildlife trails, either by foot, ATV, or vehicle. Perhaps you simply want to get our ATV out for some riding or enjoy hearing the leaves crunch under your feet on the woodland trails. The opportunities are endless.
Moose Hunting

There are limited moose licenses available for both archery moose hunts and rifle moose hunts each fall. Rates are set with respect to individual needs as far as being guided, or unguided and can be tailored to your individual needs
From time to time the Lodge will have adult moose tags available for the rifle moose season. Rifle moose hunts will be quoted individually. Season dates vary by hunting zone. Dates are dependent on the hunting zone where tags are issued. Moose Hunts are quoted on a basis of 6 nights accommodation, and 5 days hunting.

Black Bear Hunting
We offer some of the best quality black bear hunts any avid hunter can find. With more than 40 years of guiding experience, our team can provide you with the best possible chance of a successful hunt.
The Lodge has sole commercial hunting rights to a very large area of wilderness immediately surrounding the Lodge property at Perrault Falls. There is a very healthy population of black bears to draw from in this region.
Our central location in our zone, also means our hunters have relatively short distances to travel to get their hunting stands. Whether you are hunting by bow, by gun, or by muzzleloader we will ensure you have an appropriate bait site to suit your needs.
At Nordic Point Lodge you’ll enjoy a comfortable stay in one of our modern cabins on the shores of Perrault Lake for the week of your hunt. You’ll also be able to take advantage of the fabulous fishing here during the times you are not hunting.
