We cater to corporate groups, outdoorsmen, families & nature lovers alike and offer some of the finest outdoor experiences available anywhere in the vast wilderness of the Perrault Falls Adventure Area.
What to Expect
Hosts Will and Krysta provide you with the help of expert anglers to access some of Northwestern Ontario’s best fishing opportunities for trophy-class Walleye, Small Mouth Bass, Northern Pike, and the infamous Musky on Perrault Lake. We offer professional black bear hunts and cater to rifle, archery, and muzzle-load hunters. We also offer fully guided moose hunts each fall. We’re also fortunate to be able to offer great grouse hunting in and around Perrault Falls.
Our Story
Dave and Willy met back in 2016 at Tetu Island Lodge where Willy guided Dave and his family. Willy and Dave have fished twice a year since 2016 all over Sunset County. They took their passion and love for this truly unique area of the world and decided to buy a Canadian Fishing Lodge. In their search for the perfect outdoor adventure destination, they came across Rainbow Point Lodge.
The Lodge, originally named Rainbow Camp, was built in 1954. It was purchased in the fall of 1983 by Bob & Gale Extence who owned and operated it for the next 38 years. With their purchase of an adjacent neighboring camp in 1992, the lodge was expanded to encompass the nearly 14 acres of cedar forest and lakeshore it sits on today and was re-named Rainbow Point Lodge. In January 2023 the Johnson & Pawlowsky families joined together to fulfill a lifelong dream of purchasing what is now the iconic Nordic Point Lodge. We love what we do and can’t wait to be part of your adventure and hope you become part of our Nordic Point Lodge community.
Dave, Stacey, and the rest of the Johnson family reside in Texas. The Johnson family was involved in the hotel business for over 30 years but has since retired. If they aren’t fishing or hunting at the lodge, they are spending time with their amazing children & grandchildren.
Will and his wife Krysta manage daily operations around the lodge. They have 5 children and are local to the Kenora area. Will is also the owner of LOTW Fishing Adventures while Krysta works at the LWDH hospital in Kenora.
